Okay, much better since my last post, but still... can anyone recommend a translater? I just have a few questions... and why can we not have stores like the picture to the left? I am telling you, if I could travel to Japan (and darn, there is that language barrier again) I would buy TONS from these stores and open my own shop, even if just on line. I am going to have to pick ONE thing from my Cotton Time books and make it. I will just have to take some time and plan out the project, etc.... if I can just get some other things finished. Mainly these rooster potholders for my mother. She wants me to make them for the church bazaar.
Thank goodness they are easy or else I would never get anything done. They are kind of fun to make because they are small projects. Not like the rest of the WIP's in my
tub. Purses upon purses and cute little clothes for Emma. Warmer school clothes. I also recieved my first issue of Ottobre . I have some clothes to pick out from there to make for Emma. Now if only the cute courduroy would make it in the stores. I did get some really cute buttons when I was waiting for Emma to finish her dance lessons the other day. Since the studio is right near downtown Claremore and lots of antique stores, I took advantage of the
time I had and went looking. Nothing really amazing, but did find cute buttons.....
Over the weekend Emma and I did a lot of playing. I had to take pictures of the living room. Oh goodness. I have not made that big of a mess in ages, but it was soooo much fun. We even made brownies to celebrate.
There is the huge tent!
The picture on the right is a little dark... but that is the inside of the tent. We tried to sleep there, but Emma kept wiggling, so we finally gave up and went to bed, well, in a real bed.
Well, that is the update for now. Time to go to bed... this mamma is tired!
